Midnight Garden

i’m reposting this for one reason. i keep seeing this a lot over the last…well, at least for a year now. and it confuses me. when did imbolc start having anything to do with winter? yule is, as was taught to me and what’s in everything i’ve ever read, “midwinter*” (the beginning being near samhain). imbolc - the start of winter? it doesn’t make any sense! (*as litha is “midsummer” and the beginning of what some call the ‘dark half’ of the year (yule being the beginning of the ‘bright half’))
